3 Nicole, Christopher MISTRESS OF DARKNESS
New York: St. Martin's, (1976). First U.S. edition. Hardcover. Pages lightly tanned, as expected, a suggestion of wear to the extremities, else a near fine copy in a pictorial dust jacket that exhibits some mild edgewear, rubbing and some pale age-toning. A nice copy.
The third novel in the saga of the Hilton family--wealthy plantation owners in the West Indies--sets cousin against cousin as Robert Hilton sells into slavery the young mustee (1/16 African blood) woman that Matt Hilton has fallen in love with.
