Jacket announces, ''1 FREE FOR 10''; ''Coming as a MGM film starring Sean Connery Michael Redgrave Hardcover. Pale dampstain at spine and spreading to front and rear covers, thus a very good copy in grey cloth stamped in gilt; in a dust jacket with some light wear, age-toning and rubbing, and a corresponding pale dampstain to lower spine panel. 
Novelization of the powerful, distinctive film set in a North African prison camp during World War II, which starred Sean Connery, Harry Andrews, Ian Hendry, Ossie Davis and Michael Redgrave, was directed by Sidney Lumet, and based on Rigby's TV play.
