Illustrated endsheets (with artwork by Joe De Yong. 
The "oldest cowboy in Montana" tells the story of his association with Charles M. Russell during the cowboy artist's first years on the range. Frontis: facsimile letter from Russell to Tucker, with color illustration and tissue guard with transcription.
