Inscribed to Mrs. John W. Poe, author of BUCKBOARD DAYS and widow of John W. Poe, deputy sheriff under Pat Garrett and present at the killing of Billy the Kid--dated in 1940 and SIGNED by the author. Mrs. Poe has also SIGNED the title-page. Scarce!
