Green cloth with gilt spine titles and decoration. Hardcover. Very nearly fine; in a lightly shelfworn decorated dust jacket, with a piece missing from the lower portion of the spine, some separation of the rear panel from the spine, and a few small edge tears. Jacket art device by Bill Meek. Albeit a nice copy! 
Published in the U.K. as REQUIEM FOR A WREN. Wounded and embittered, RAF flyer Alan Duncan comes home to Australia seeking peace and solace after the ravages of war. His return is greeted by a suicide and a lifetime of powerful, haunting memories.
