1 Morey, Walt ANGRY WATERS
New York: E.P. Dutton and Co., Inc., (1969). First edition: Review copy, with publisher's slip laid in. Hardcover. Hint of wear to the spine crown, else this is a bright, fine copy in vivid teal cloth stamped in black with illustration to front, titles to spine; in a mildly age-toned, lightly rubbed dust jacket that shows a faint production crease to the front panel.
The author of GENTLE BEN here fashions a coming-of-age novel about Dan, a fifteen-year-old parolee, required to work on a family dairy farm; the tale climaxes as the family and Dan must face uncontrollable flood waters. Illustrated by Richard Cuffari.

Stone.
Circus owner Henry D. Marcel has his eye on our ursine hero, Gus, an Alaskan Kodiak bear raised by young Eric Strong with the help of old prospector Ten-Day Watson. "Another colorful, heartwarming story" from the author of GENTLE BEN.
