Oyster-white boards with the border, spine, rectangle cover design and titles all in black and spine titles in Oyster-white. Hardcover. A small spot of stain to the lower page edges, else a fine, fresh copy; in an equally nice dust jacket that replicates the board design. Jacket and title-page design by Robert Lowry. 155 pages. 
This edition, originally published August 25, 1946, reprints two early collections of the young Trappist monk's poems, including his first book,THIRTY POEMS. Not noted in Dell'Isola, THOMAS MERTON: A Bibliography. Uncommon.
