1 Morrison, Lucile THE ATTIC-CHILD
New York: Frederick A. Stokes Company, 1929. B00089X85C First edition, first printing. Taupe cloth with brown lettering, sihouette of a boy and a girl going up a staircase by flashlight; in dust jacket. Hardcover. A narrow area of water-damage fading to lower edges of front and rear covers, else this would be a bright, fresh, fine copy; in a near fine dust jacket that shows some rubbing at spine folds, minor edgewear, tiny nicks to spine ends and corner tips.
Scarce juvenile mystery set in the bandit-haunted rafter-rooms of an old California mansion. With wonderful three-color tissue-guarded frontispiece and numerous b&w designs by Mable Pyne. Morrison is also the author of THE LOST QUEEN OF EGYPT.
Price: 450.00 USD
