1 Myers, John Myers DEAD WARRIOR
Boston/Toronto: Little, Brown and Company, (1956). First edition, first printing. Hardcover. Age-toning to the text and shelf edges of the covers, one corner tip lightly bumped, else very good plus; in a worn, very good illustrated dust jacket with chipping to the shelf edges, and an abrasion to the front panel (from price-sticker removal).
Presentation copy, with a warm dated inscription to television episode scriptwriter and western author William A. Cox ("Bill Cox"), SIGNED by the author. Barringer had licked the whole town--all but one man. "Two notches above top notch..."--NY Times.

2 Myers, John Myers THE DEATHS OF THE BRAVOS
Boston: Little, Brown and Company, (1962). First edition: Review copy, with publisher's slip laid in. Hardcover. Fine, in a lightly edgeworn and nicked illustrated dust jacket with a few insignificant edge-tears. Map-decorated endpapers. Although a somewhat common book it is scarce with the review slip.
Iconoclastic and irreverent account of the discovery, exploration and conquest of the American West. Myers authored the well-regarded THE WILD YAZOO, THE ALAMO, and DOC HOLLIDAY, as well as sf cult classic SILVERLOCK.

3 Myers, John Myers THE WILD YAZOO
New York: E.P. Dutton and Co., 1947. Third printing. Hardcover. Spine ends lightly frayed, else a very nearly fine copy; in pictorial dust jacket with some fading to spine. Colorful Thomas Hart Bentonish jacket art by Jan Doubrava.
Set against the "lusty, brawling background of frontier Northern Mississippi in the early nineteenth century," this novel by the historian/fantasist (author of SILVERLOCK) combines authenticity with a lively evocation of the spirit of Old Mississippi.
