Garden City, New York: Doubleday, Doran & Co., Inc., 1945. Reprint. Hardcover. Very good: pages age-toned--as expected, very light shelf wear, top edge age-darkened and mildly soiled; in price-clipped dust jacket that shows substantial rubbing, nicking, edge-creases, dampstaining to rear and spine panels; red ''1936'' to front flap. 
"How Stan Ridley Met Adventure on the Trading Schooner 'Wind-rider"'--as the subtitle describes this sea-going juvenile by the king thereof. Attractive double-spread, monochrome illustrated endsheets; color frontis which is echoed on the jacket.

Young Moderns edition. Hardcover. A touch of wear to the spine ends, pages tanned (as expected in this war-issue era volume), else a near fine copy in vivid pictorial dust jacket that shows some light edgewear, nicking, and a couple of creased tears to the upper front panel. 
A fast-moving mystery story, illustrated by Armstrong Sperry, involving a boy's adventures in search of his father in the New Guinea jungle.
