New Yor, N.Y.: Julian Messner, Inc., (1951). First edition, second printing. Splendid jacket art and internal illustrations by Wilfrid Bronson. Hardcover. A near fine copy; in a lightly shelfworn pictorial dust jacket with light nicks, creases, and wear to the crown of the spine; a tiny tear and minor crease to the lower rear panel, and mild dust-soiling to the rear panel. 
This is a very scarce early juvenile novel by the author of MACKENNA'S GOLD, and many other fine western novels. "Wolf-Eye was part German Shepherd, part a civilized loyal loving dog... but part of him was wolf, cruel, man-hating, untamable wolf."
