Ashcroft, British Columbia: Ash-Tree Press, 1999. 1899562680 / 9781899562688 First edition thus: one of five hundred copies issued. Hardcover. Very fine in grey cloth, silver-lettered spine; red-on-red decorated endpapers; in dust jacket with artwork by Jason C. Eckhardt. Edited by Richard Dalby. With photo frontispiece, portrait of the author, and reproduction of the first edition jacket art. 
Penned for the amusement of family and friends by the prominent Edwardian architect, these tales were collected in 1919 and, with one exception, have never been reprinted. In one selection, Jackson was among the first to haunt the London Underground.
