Montgomery, Alabama: The Paragon Press, 1934. First edition, first printing. One of 2000 numbered copies, this is copy 200. Dated (1935) inscription, SIGNED by the author to the front endpaper. Hardcover. Faint staining and dust soiling to the covers, lightly shelfworn, else a good to very good copy in blue cloth with gilt-embossed cover titles (somewhat dulled) and gilt-embossed spine titles that have worn off; no dust jacket. 105 pages. 
William Armistead Gayle, Jr. (1896-1965), served as Adjutant General for the state of Alabama, was commissioner of the City of Montgomery, and served in World War I and II, the latter as a Colonel in the Air Force--receiving the Bronze Star. Now scarce!
