Small octavo. Hardcover. Fine in a price-clipped photo-pictorial dust jacket with a few tiny spots of rubbing to the panels and faint creases to the upper rear panel and flap. 239 pages, thirty-one b&w plates, three maps, a note on sources, and an index. 
An account of the Mau Mau rebellion in Kenya, which officially started in October, 1952, but had been stewing for some time. This brutal conflict pitted the English government and European settlers against a group of native Kenyans.
