Inscribed and SIGNED by the author to the front endpaper: ''To Brother Wingate from Brother Liam.'' Hardcover. Good copy only: top page edges display some damp spotting, covers also show some staining, and the upper and lower spine ends have chipped and appear worn, corner tips worn; lacking the dust jacket. 
An association copy of some merit inscribed to Wingate Smith, film director John Ford's brother-in-law, drinking partner, assistant director, and "First Sargeant" of the John Ford stock company. This book was dedicated to John Ford.

New York: Harcourt Brace and Company, (1927). Second printing. Inscribed and SIGNED by the author to the front endpaper. Hardcover. Small smudge of stain to the top page edges, mild offsetting to the endsheets and tanning to the textblock, crown of the spine frayed, and some darkening to the spine, else a very good copy; lacking the dust jacket. 
An association copy inscribed to Academy Award-winning Irish-American film director John Ford's sister Josie Feeney. O'Flaherty and Ford were close friends and it was due to Ford's efforts that O'Flahery's novel THE INFORMER was brought to the screen.

Inscribed and SIGNED by O'Flaherty to the front endpaper to film director John Ford's sister, Josephine Feeney. Hardcover. Rear hinge cracking, covers are somewhat worn and rubbed, spine ends frayed, an about very good copy in brown cloth; lacking the dust jacket. 
Liam O'Flaherty's record of two adventure-filled years after his discharge from the British Army--after World War I--traveling across half the globe, working at a dozen jobs, and meeting men of every sort.
