London: Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1960. First U.K. edition. Hardcover. Mild bump to upper edge front cover, covers a tad splayed, else nearly fine, in a photo-pictorial dust jacket that shows some light edgewear, tiny edge tears and associated creasing. Jacket designed by Christopher Macartney-Filgate. 
Tale of robbery on the high-seas, in which a restored German sub is used to hold-up the Queen Mary! Another of Finney's deft, nimble, eminently readable, and character-rich entertainments. Filmed in 1966 with Frank Sinatra. The unusual U.K. issue.

Movie tie-in mass market paperback edition of Jack Finney's tale of high-seas robbery. This copy has been inscribed "Best Wishes--" and SIGNED by the author to the title-page. Rod Serling wrote the script for the 1966 film adaptation. Scarce SIGNED.
