Clovis, California: Vega Books, Inc., [circa 1964]. First U.S. edition: Paperback original. VSF-10; cover price, $.60. Mass market paperback. A pencil stroke to upper page edges, else fine in illustrated wraps. Cover art shows a terrified couple running, as over them hovers an ashen Mackenzie, the astronaut, returned from a dangerous mission carrying an ''uknown menace'' that begins to spread! 
Absolutely pristine copy of the undated U.S. issue of Lionel Fanthorpe's sf PBO which originally appeared in the U.K. in 1964 under the Badger imprint. "He was the first to return from the death zone, could he survive?"

VSF-10; cover price, $.60. Mass market paperback. Very nearly fine, unread, in illustrated wraps, with the usual appealingly naÔve but irresistibly eyecatching cover art which distinguished this series from Badger in the U.K. and from Vega in the U.S. 
SIGNED by the pseudonymous author; undated U.S. issue of Lionel Fanthorpe's sf PBO which originally appeared in the U.K. in 1964 under the Badger imprint. Also issued as EXILED IN SPACE in 1968 from Arcadia House.
