New York: Gnome Press, (1951). First edition, limited to 4,000 copies. Hardcover. Covers slightly splayed, faint foxing to the top page edges and to the pastedowns, else a nice, near fine copy; in an illustrated dust jacket that shows minor edge wear, a very small chip to the lower edge of the front panel, and mild rubbing. 
Jacket illustration by David Kyle. This, Jones' first novel, is considered his best. It is the complicated story of two parallel worlds and a man who searches for forbidden knowledge. A unique science fiction classic.
