[Stratford, Ct]: Classics of Golf, (1988). 0940889218 / 9780940889217 First edition thus. Hardcover. Fine in gilt decorated and titled red cloth, decorative endpapers; no dust jacket, as issued. 304 pages; illustrated. 
Handsomely produced facsimile of the first edition (1900), with a new foreword by the late Herbert Warren Wind and an afterword by Ross Goodner. Evidently F.G.Tait, Scotland's greatest hero, was as gallant on the golf course as on the battlefield.
