1 Thane, Elswyth LETTER TO A STRANGER
New York: Duell, Sloan and Pearce, (1954). First edition. Hardcover. Fine, in gray cloth stamped in green with titles and with quill pen device to front cover and to spine; in a price-clipped pictorial dust jacket that shows very mild edgewear, faint age-toning and light rubbing. A nice copy.
Author Eve Endicott receives a letter from Joanna Marshall and, against the advice of her publisher, she finds herself drawn to become involved with the Marshall family; soon she is under the compulsion of a dead woman--whom she is said to resemble.
