Volume I is missing the rear endpaper and is heavily foxed with spotting to the covers, else an about very good copy; Volumes II and III have some minor foxing, else are very good plus; each volume is bound in green cloth with gilt titles and decoration.
The author, an American Banker, recounts several trips to Jamaica, San Francisco, Mexico, Italy, Europe, St. Louis, etc. Volume I contains much on the San Francisco Earthquake and subsequent fires. An uncommon Neale imprint.
