Sauk City, Wisconsin: Arkham House, 1943. First edition, first printing: one of 1217 copies printed. Jacket photo by Burt Trimpey of Clark Ashton Smith sculptures. Hardcover. Ownership name, some discoloration and mild staining to covers, else very good, in black cloth with gilt spine titling (tarnished); in an about good only dust jacket, that is worn, chipped, tape-repaired, age-toned, and missing large pieces to the spine. 
The second Lovecraft omnibus (after 1939's THE OUTSIDER AND OTHERS) collects THE CASE OF CHARLES DEXTER WARD, THE DREAM-QUEST OF UNKNOWN KADDATH, stories not collected in THE OUTSIDER, ghostwritten tales, and poetry.
