Ace Double #G-597. Mass market paperback. Fine in wrappers; illustration for the Le Guin is by Jerome Podwil; for the Disch, Kelly Freas has created a memorable blue-hued, satanically bearded and hair-horned alien bearing an ax, with a flame-reddened otherworldly metropolis in the background. 
The first release of PLANET OF EXILE; backed by the first book appearance of MANKIND UNDER THE LEASH. A very nice copy.

First appearance of the early Le Guin title, the second Hainish novel, in an Ace do-si-do backed by the Disch tale. This copy SIGNED by Le Guin to the title-page of her novel.
