1 Herge; direction, Jaques Martin Tintin Raconte...L'HISTOIRE DE LA MARINE: DE 1700 A 1850
[Paris]: Septimus Editions, (1981). 2865250105 / 9782865250103 Reissue. Collaboration Historique et Technique: Marjolaine Matikhine; Georges Fouille, peintre du departement de la Marine; et Bob de Moor. Hardcover. Some fading to spine and to adjacent areas of the covers, minor crimp to spine crown, thus nearly fine, in blue woven cloth covers with gilt stamping to spine and front; in a lightly age-toned, very nearly fine illustrated dust jacket. Folio. 68 pages. 
Second volume of Herge's wonderfully realized illustrated history of sea-going vessels, each page features a painting of a particular ship, accompanied by historical text. Originally issued in 1963; even this reprint is quite hard to come by. In French.

Collaboration Historique et Technique: Georges Fouille, peintre du departement de la Marine; et Bob de Moor. Hardcover. Mild bruising to spine crown and heel, hint of curling to upper corner tips, else fine, in tan textured cloth; in a lightly age-toned, very nearly fine illustrated dust jacket that shows some mild creasing at the spine ends. Folio. 68 pages. 
Volume I of Herge's marvelous pictorial history of ships. Each page displays a painting of a ship, (starting with a prehistoric raft!) accompanied by historical text. Tintin appears next to every ship, frolicking about in the appropriate period costume.
