1 Crisp, Lucy Cherry SPRING FEVER And Other Dialect Verse
Greensboro, N.C.: Printed for the author by Jos. J. Stone & Company, (1935). Second printing. This copy inscribed, dated (1936), and SIGNED by the author. Very very light wear to the edges, else fine, stringbound within gilt-lettered and ruled cardstock wraps. The binding string shows some fading and fraying. 
Collection of verses written in Negro dialect, most of which were originally published in a column entitled "By-Ways and Hedges" appearing in the Raleigh News and Observer. Crisp was founder and first president of The Pitt County Historical Association.
