1 Morgan, Charles MY NAME IS LEGION
London: William Heinemann Ltd., (1925). First edition. Hardcover. A couple of very insignificant bumps to edges, likewise a mild indentation to front cover, else a very nearly fine copy in green binding, spine-stamped in gilt; in printed dust jacket with spine darkened, edges nicked, a few areas of spotted pale stain.
Though the publisher's jacket flap blurb identifies this as Morgan's first novel, it actually followed his controversial THE GUNROOM (1919); LEGION enjoyed a warm critical reception, but Morgan's next book, PORTRAIT IN A MIRROR, truly launched his career.
