Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1892. Fifteenth edition: so stated on title-page. Hardcover. Very good only: spine slanted, covers and edges worn and rubbed, some insignificant dots of stain, erasure mar to front free endsheet; in green cloth with gilt spine titles, gilt ship vignette to front cover; no dust jacket. 496 pages, including index. 
"Experiences and observations of an Oriental journey" by the noted novelist and editor, and co-author with Mark Twain of THE GILDED AGE. This example of Warner's travelogue bears the bookplate of Charles Bayard Mitchell, a bishop in the Methodist Church.
