(Toulon, France) To Publishers, (1932). First edition, first printing. SIGNED by the author to the top of the first blank leaf. Good to very good: slight chipping to the edges of the very fragile wraps, the green covers have uniformly browned, the text is age-toned, and the brittle spine has tanned and lacks a small piece at the crown.
Collects the novelette (JANUARY) with a selection of experimental prose. Williams was a prolific poet, author, and physician who, late in life, had a strong influence on many of the Beats including Ginsberg and Kerouac. He won a Pulitzer Prize in 1963.
