Garden City, New York: Nelson Doubleday, Inc., [1976]. Reprint of the film edition issued by the Science Fiction Book Club. With the code "H11" on page 151; jacket code 3111. Hardcover. Near fine, in black boards with white spine lettering; in a near fine illustrated dust jacket with light shelfwear, mild rubbing, and a sliced tear to the front panel. 
Burrough's yarn (which had first seen print serially in four April, 1914 installments of ALL-STORY WEEKLY) re-issued to coincide with the AIP film, featured in the jacket art and eight b&w stills within. The film starred Doug McClure and Peter Cushing.

A quite nice example of an early G&D reprint of the McClurg original, with frontispiece and three additional plates by St. John printed on coated stock inserts, intext map. B&W photo of ERB and 30 ERB titles on rear jacket panel date the book about 1931.
