Beautiful b&w line drawings and color plates. This wonderful tale, set in the mountain hamlet of Andorra, a small country in Europe, captures in affectionate detail the warmth and grace of a little-known people and a beautiful land.

Appropriately tiny (4.5"x6.5") verse picture-book tale of a boy called Jackie Thimble, who is one foot four, and one day disappears into a round pillar postal box. As always, Ardizzone's artwork is enchanting.
