1 Rolls, Anthony FAMILY MATTERS
London: Geoffrey Bles, (1933). First edition, first printing. Hardcover. Very good minus: spots of dampstain to upper page edges, soiling and darkening to spine, light overall wear; lacking dust jacket.
Golden age mystery written under pseudonym by C.E. Vulliamy. This example bound in pale blue-green cloth with black lettering and rules, with "By the Same Author" on pastedown, no free endsheet or half-title. Perhaps a later state binding.
Price: 75.00 USD

2 Rolls, Anthony SCARWEATHER
London: Geoffrey Bles, 1934. First edition, first printing. Hardcover. Mild spine lean and minor splaying of covers very light wear and soiling, hint of dampstaining to front pastedown; thus a solid very good copy, in red cloth with black lettering and rules; lacking the dust jacket.
The last of a handful of golden-age mysteries written by Colwyn Edward Vullaimy (1886-1971) under pseudonym. Hubin lists three additional titles: CLERICAL ERROR (U.S. title THE VICAR'S EXPERIMENTS); FAMILY MATTERS; LOBELIA GROVE.
Price: 150.00 USD
