Paris: Editions Nilsson, [1928]. First edition thus. From the Collection ''Lotus.'' Six pochoir watercolor plates, plus illustrated dust jacket. Near fine. Bright and sharp interior, bound in stiff cardstock covers, in hand-painted tissue dustwrapper. The wrapper, folded over and affixed to inside covers, shows the expected browning, a substantial chip to upper spine, a tiny chip to lower spine. 
Fictionalized account of the poet/playwright's affair with George Sand, here in the original French, in a stylish edition with exquisite deco-ish watercolor illustrations by Robert-Pollack, hand-painted on tissue and mounted on cardstock inserts. Scarce!
