Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1921. First edition. Hardcover. Upper spine end lightly bumped, else a bright near fine copy in blue cloth titled in gilt; in dust jacket with several short tears to the rear panel, tiny chipping to the spine ends, and a small piece missing from the lower center of the spine, 
The subject of this memoir was for fifty years a minister of which over thirty-five years was spent in California as a leader of the Unitarian Church in San Francisco. Frontispiece portrait. 269 pages.

In 1864, when Starr King died, Mr. Stebbins was called to the Church in San Francisco, at that time the only Unitarian Church on the Pacific coast; he would spend over thirty-five years in the ministry in California. Frontispiece portrait.
