Fine, in terra cotta cloth with black spine titling; in a very good plus dust jacket, mildly faded to spine panel (a common problem), lightly worn at the extremities, a few edge tears--reinforced from within by cello-tape, patch of soiling to rear panel. Derek Calver touches down on Lorn and is determined to join the Rim Runners to explore desolate planets. Two chapters (4 and 5) included in this original Avalon edition were excised from the subsequent Ace and Priory editions. Price:
